MIWEC was contracted to decommission the Bob’s Stores / Eastern Mountain Sports 250,000 SF distribution facility in Meriden, CT. Scope included:

• Removal and recycling of over 100,000 SF of mezzanine structures
• Full interior demolition including all office furniture
• Certified data center decommissioning and equipment repurposing
• Recycling of all paper, ferrous, and non-ferrous metals
• Salvaging and reuse of 100,000 SF of plywood
• Final broom-swept condition and full site turnover

️ Challenge:
100,000+ SF mezzanine structures required engineered takedown and recycling.

Specialty rigging crews dismantled structural steel safely and staged it for recycling.

On-site data center needed certified decommissioning.

Chain-of-custody logs and certified data destruction protocols were followed.
