JCPenney Warehouse Liquidation – Manchester CT

Over 1,000,000 sq ft of phased decommissioning, asset recovery, and scrap recycling across a legacy distribution center.

Scope of Work

MIWEC Asset Recovery Inc. was selected to manage the full-scale closure and liquidation of a former JCPenney distribution center in Manchester CT. The facility, exceeding 1 million square feet, required a strategic, safety-first approach to dismantle high-bay racking, recover saleable assets, and remove scrap materials.

Our team executed the project under tight time constraints and with minimal active power, utilizing battery tools and generators to maintain productivity. We collaborated closely with site stakeholders and the fire marshal to ensure safe phased demolition and full environmental compliance.

The project is a prime example of MIWEC’s ability to deliver large-scale warehouse decommissioning and liquidation with speed, precision, and professionalism.
